The Lord of the Rings Online is still one of the popular classics among MMORPGs. This is due to exciting adventures, scenarios, and the many possibilities players have – including music-making. There are bands within the game that perform their self-composed songs at concerts. Additionally, there is still a lot of content, and the game is regularly expanded.
A console port would be quite conceivable. Perhaps the new developer studio Standing Stone Games sees potential in this area. But for that, the publishing partner Daybreak would have to think similarly. The age of the game might play a role here, as a port for PS4 and Xbox One would involve some effort. Thus, the chances are rather slim.
