Wildstar
The second major headache for NC Soft. Wildstar is increasingly losing players, even the release on Steam did not bring the hoped turnaround. Currently, only a few hundred players are online at the same time according to Steamcharts. This doesn’t include those who play not through Steam, which should be significantly more. Nevertheless, the numbers are overall very disappointing.
A port for Xbox One and Playstation 4 is highly questionable. The game will struggle to survive in the near future.
The developers are currently working on major updates and hope that these will rekindle the interest of players. If that doesn’t happen, it will likely be very tight for the online role-playing game – despite the good and interesting approaches and humor. This would certainly have been well received by console players.
