A new leak for World of Warcraft (WoW) has surfaced. It concerns the already leaked “Shadowlands” expansion. The new leak reportedly comes from the Blizzard shop.
What has been leaked? An image allegedly from the Blizzard fan shop is currently circulating in the WoW communities. It features an advertisement for Blizzard merchandise, possibly for BlizzCon 2019. It advertises a t-shirt in various sizes as well as a print.
What makes the leak interesting is that both the t-shirt and the print are said to be related to “Shadowlands.” The supposedly next expansion, which has already been announced through leaks in the past months. But this time it is said to come directly from Blizzard.
The print shows the character Bolvar wearing his Lich King helmet. The quality resembles that of Blizzard’s cinematics, however, this has not been seen in this form on the print before.
Where does the leak come from? As reported by GameRant , the leaked image may come from the annual BlizzCon brochure. Mystery products like these prints, which are limited in number, would be typical.
The image first appeared in the forums of MMO-Champion. A user there claims to know someone from the security staff at Blizzard who was able to smuggle photos to him on a USB stick.
How is the community reacting to the leak? On Reddit , the leak is being hotly debated. There are skeptical remarks about the leaked image featuring Bolvar.
A Reddit user writes, “Bolvar looks crazy, but didn’t he have fiery eyes? Where did you actually find that?”
To which another user replies, “It seems strange to me that someone who is so skilled with Photoshop would forget such an obvious detail. I mean, the eyes really stand out, maybe Ner’zhul has taken control again or something.”
The blue eyes are an important detail that is being discussed in the comments. One player speculates that they might appear blue because it is a sign of the helmet’s power.
Most readers agree that this image is of particularly high quality. “This is either a real leak or a damn good artist,” writes a user on Reddit.
This leak regarding the next WoW expansion is supported by the fact that there are currently some leaks around Blizzard franchises. There are also new insights regarding Diablo 4.
What is known about Shadowlands? This is not the first leak regarding a possible WoW expansion named Shadowlands. A photographed image showing the region around Shadowlands has already surfaced.
Later, further screenshots allegedly related to the expansion were leaked on the 4Chan forum. It looks like all the WoW characters would die in Shadowlands.
