Thanks to favorable affixes, dungeon records are tumbling in WoW again. Now even “Mythic+29” has been achieved within the time limit – multiple times.
World of Warcraft: Legion is in its final phase, and there will be no new patch. Thanks to still improving gear, the records for the particularly tough “Mythic+” dungeons are tumbling at high speed. The first “Mythic+29” keystone was also completed within the time limit, before a second group broke that record as well.
What records have been set? The dungeon “Lower Karazhan” was completed in 38 minutes and 22 seconds, thus achieving the challenge within the time limit. Just a few hours later, this record was broken again, as Lower Karazhan was completed (also at +29) in 35 minutes and 5 seconds.
Why did the records fall so quickly? Last week, the affixes “Bloodied”, “Horrifying”, and “Empowered” were active. Among players, this is considered a particularly forgiving combination, which is easier to manage as the additional effects require little attention and the DPS can focus on dealing damage continuously.
What makes “Mythic+” dungeons difficult? As the level of the “Mythic+” dungeon increases, the health points of the enemies and the damage dealt also increase. At level “+29”, the enemies deal a whopping 1342% more damage and have 1342% more health points!
It remains exciting to see what records the players will achieve before the release of Battle for Azeroth in August, before the race begins again in the upcoming expansion.
What was the most challenging “Mythic+” dungeon that you completed within the time limit? Are you also nearing 29?
