Another record in World of Warcraft has been set. The first groups completed a “Mythic +30” dungeon – within the time limit!
Just before World of Warcraft: Legion comes to an end, records are once again being broken in the mythic dungeons. One group has now managed to become the first team in the world to complete a dungeon of “Mythic +30” difficulty within the designated time limit. They finished with less than one second remaining!
The Lower Karazhan was the target. The group consisted of a Blood Death Knight, Holy Paladin, Affliction Warlock, Fire Mage, and Windwalker Monk, who chose the Lower Karazhan as their dungeon. Many records have already been set here in the past. Now, they have broken the magical barrier of “Mythic +30” within the time limit. Thus, the group is the only one in the world to have achieved this feat so far. You can watch the complete run here in the video:
Finish at the last second. To call the achievement “tight” would be an understatement. The group had less than one second left to finish the dungeon on time. If even one of the last attacks had not landed a critical hit, the attempt would likely have failed. A bit of luck was also part of this achievement.
Will more records be broken? The players don’t have much time left, as the Pre-Patch 8.0 is coming out in a few weeks. With this, the artifact weapons will be significantly weaker, as their properties will be deactivated. Whether “Mythic +30” will still be possible is questionable.
What do you think of this achievement? Impressive, even now with the upgraded artifact weapons? Or not so great, just before the end of the addon?
