Starting August 10, the demon hunt begins as a kind of “Early Access”
Those who decided early to purchase “World of Warcraft: Legion” were lured with the promise of being able to play the demon hunter before the expansion’s release. However, Blizzard has not yet provided a specific date. In the recent Q&A livestream, which revolved around the demon hunter, the date was revealed.
Accordingly, demon hunters will celebrate their release in America on August 9, with Europe following one day later, on August 10 – after the maintenance work.
It was also unclear how much players of the demon hunters could already try out. There is an answer to that as well: The entire starting area of the new class (Mardum and the prison of the Watchers) can be played, and then all content that the game already has (everything up to and including Warlords of Draenor) – so no one has to “wait” at the end of the starting area, but can continue to participate in the pre-event.
Speaking of the pre-event. It will also go into the next round starting August 10. After the server maintenance, the demons of the Burning Legion will begin their attacks and target Azeroth. From then on, all players have the opportunity to secure unique weapon skins, pets, and toys that are only available during this transitional period.
