The trial of valor in WoW will become significantly easier. We have the changes to the current raid for you.
The current raid of World of Warcraft: Legion, the trial of valor, is particularly tough for players on heroic and mythic difficulty levels. “Too difficult” most players found it, and Blizzard agrees – the balancing of the bosses was not quite refined, and with the current equipment level, hardly any progress can be made without a “perfect group composition.”
The upcoming hotfix will provide relief. In detail, the following things will change:
Odyn
- The damage from Shatter has been reduced by 25% on all difficulty levels.
- The damage that tanks take from Stormforged Spear has been reduced by 25%.
- Odyn’s health points have been reduced by 10% on all difficulty levels.
- The health points of Hyrja and Hymdall have been reduced by 20% on all difficulty levels.
- Hymdall and Hyrja leave the fight (as before) at 85% of their health points in Phase 2 of the heroic fight.
Guarm
- Health points reduced by 10% on all difficulties.
- The damage from Swift Charge has been reduced by 10% on all difficulty levels.
- The initial damage from Flame Slashing has been reduced by 5% on “Mythic”.
Helya
- Helya, Corrupted Water Slimes, and the Sailor’s Nightwatch have 10% fewer health points on all difficulty levels.
- The Dirt Lord has 15% fewer health points on all difficulty levels.
- Contagion of the Seas now affects one less player on Mythic difficulty.
- The damage from Corrupted Explosion has been reduced on all difficulty levels.
The hotfix will be applied in the coming night (December 20, 2016) in Europe and will be available after server maintenance. With the fresh raid ID, all raiders of the trial can visit again and perhaps make further progress now.
The next raid is not far away: The Nighthold will open its doors in January.
