A final spirit remains to help Khadgar
Blizzard seems to have kicked off the season of the Karazhan-Cinematics. Not only in Hearthstone does everything revolve around Karazhan; the latest installment of the “Harbingers” film series for World of Warcraft also has this location as its setting.
In his desperation, Khadgar travels to the legendary tower of the last guardian to find clues that can stop the Legion. While searching through the tower’s library, an old acquaintance appears: Medivh, the last guardian. His spirit is bound to this place, which is why he helps his former student.
Medivh offers his former protégé a tempting proposal: he should become the new guardian to protect Azeroth once again from the Burning Legion. With this power, it would surely be easy to send the demon hordes back to the Nether.
But Khadgar hesitates. If even Medivh succumbed to the temptation of this power, how would it fare with him? Can he resist the whispers? Or should he seize the only chance that Azeroth might still have?
