WoW: The strongest combinations of legendaries and talents with 8.0

Thanks to Patch 8.0, there are some crazy combinations of legendary items and new talents in World of Warcraft. We reveal what has the most effect.

The Pre-Patch 8.0 of World of Warcraft has shaken up the classes to prepare them for Battle for Azeroth. This brought many new talents whose effects are modeled after legendary items from Legion.

The exciting part: Most of the effects of the talents can be combined with the legendary items! This creates overpowered combinations where the effects are added, for example. Sometimes there are even small multiplications that further increase the damage or effect of an ability.

The colleagues from wowhead have compiled the combinations of talents and Legendaries. We present the funniest ones here.

Death Knight

Blood

• Scourge’s Hemostasis (Legendary) and Hemostasis (Talent)

Combined effect: Increases the damage of Death Strike by up to 140%.

Frost

• Frozen Heart (Legendary) and Frozen Heart (Talent)

Combined effect: Once 20 stacks from both sources have been collected, Ice Chains deal 620% of attack power as damage.

Demon Hunter

Devastation

• Wrath of the Half-Giant (Legendary) and Unquenchable Hunger (Talent)

Combined effect: Demon Bite now generates between 12 and 24 additional Fury – ensuring you reach the maximum with three hits.

Druid

Balance

• The Lady and the Child (Legendary) and Twin Moons (Talent)

Combined effect: Moonfire deals 44% more damage and now hits two additional targets.

Restoration

• The Council of the Dark Titan (Legendary) and Photosynthesis (Talent)

Combined effect: Ablooming Life now has two separate chances of 5% each to bloom – once for a normal healing value and once for triple healing.

Hunter

Marksmanship

• Ullr’s Feather-Snow Shoes (Legendary) and Shooting Order (Talent)

Combined effect: The cooldown of the ability Mark Target is reduced by 3.3 seconds when Multi-Shot is used.

Wizard

Fire

• Koralon’s Burning Touch (Legendary) and Burning Touch (Talent)

Combined effect: Scorch now deals 500% additional damage and is always critical against targets below 30% health.

Frost

• Magtheridon’s Burnt Bracers (Legendary) and Chain Reaction (Talent)

Combined effect: Ice Lances now deal up to 35.7% more damage if all stacks from both sources are maintained.

Monk

Brewmaster

• Jewel of the Lost Abbey (Legendary) and Charged Brew (Talent)

Staffs now last 6 seconds longer – so 16 seconds.

Whispering Wind

• Cenedril, Mirror of Hatred (Legendary) and Good Karma (Talent)

Combined effect: The maximum damage of Karma Touch is increased by up to 400%.

Paladin

Holy

• The Tower Without a Spire (Legendary) and Awakening (Talent)

Combined effect: Light of Dawn now has two chances for the Paladin to receive Vengeful Retribution, once for 8 seconds and once for 10 seconds.

Retribution

• Whispers of the Nathrezim (Legendary) and Righteous Judgment (Talent)

Combined effect: Judgment of the Templar increases the damage of the next Judgment of the Templar by 30%.

Priest

Shadow

• Mangaza’s Madness (Legendary) and Shadow Word: Void (Talent)

Combined effect: You now have three charges of Mind Spike or Shadow Word: Void.

Rogue

Assassination

• The Trick of the Dreadlord (Legendary) and Hidden Blades (Talent)

Combined effect: After a hotfix, Throat Slash now deals “only” 1450% additional damage at maximum stacks.

Warlock

Affliction

• Hood of Eternal Contempt (Legendary) and Creeping Death (Talent)

Combined effect: The damage ticks of Agony now come 22.8% faster.

Warrior

Arms

• Ayala’s Stone Heart (Legendary) and Sudden Death (Talent)

Combined effect: Execute now has two independent chances on each attack to be usable for free and independent of the opponent’s health points.

Fury

• Sturmer of Ceann-Ar (Legendary) and Endless Fury (Talent)

Combined effect: Each time Enrage is triggered, you gain 14 additional Fury.

Please remember that these combinations are only possible and active up to level 115. After that, the legendary items from “Legion” become inactive and lose their passive bonuses.
