Every week, special world bosses appear in World of Warcraft . Especially on the planet Argus, these enemies are particularly rewarding targets, as they drop items with an item level of 930. If there’s an upgrade to Titanforged, one quickly soars into loot heaven.
However, the Great Invasion Point this week against Grubenlord Vilemus seems to be afflicted by a bug.
Since yesterday, Wednesday, October 4, 2017, Vilemus has been available and drops decent loot – but without an additional coin throw.
Normally, after defeating the boss, you get asked if you want to make an additional roll for loot. At least if you have at least one Seal of the Betrayed Destiny with you.
However, many players report with Grubenlord Vilemus that they had no additional chance and complained on Twitter and in the official forum. Blizzard is already working on a solution to the problem and will likely implement it with the next hotfix. However, there is no date for this yet.
Double kill brings bonus loot
There is already a temporary “workaround” for everyone who does not want to miss out on their bonus loot. Community Manager Aerythlea explained that you just have to fight and defeat the boss a second time. During the second kill, while he no longer has any “regular” loot, the bonus roll should work as expected.
This bug is thus more than just a bit of wasted time. However, it becomes annoying for players who want to take down Vilemus with multiple characters. Because if you suddenly need 16 kills instead of 8, the whole evening can quickly be gone.
