New information about Hati has surfaced in World of Warcraft. The beloved companion will be able to do much more than before.
When hunters lost their companion Hati at the end of World of Warcraft: Legion, the frustration was great. There was no proper farewell, and without the wolf Hati, an essential part was simply missing. With Patch 8.1.5, Hati will celebrate his return in a small quest line and have some additional surprises!
Hati as a mount: In the latest version of Patch 8.1.5, many new items related to Hati have emerged. Hunters can apparently obtain them after completing the new quest line about Hati. The “Ironspine Protocol” can be used to increase Hati’s size and constitution, allowing him to be ridden by the player! Currently, the item is unique and can only be kept 5 times in the inventory.
More toys for Hati: In addition to the riding feature, other items have also appeared, which hunters can use to further modify or play with Hati. So far, the following are known:
- Voltweave Fez: Puts a fez hat on Hati.
- Jolt Jerky: Give Hati a treat that heals him for a small amount. Sometimes Hati gets so happy that he jumps on you and licks your face wildly, causing nature damage.
- Rubber Ball: Throw the ball for Hati.
- Charged Sparkstone: Brings forth the dormant lightning powers within Hati, visually enhancing Hati’s abilities.
Unique items or reusable? Since these items are consumables or have limited charges, it can be assumed that hunters can purchase these items multiple times to trigger the effect repeatedly. However, this has not yet been confirmed.
