With the new expansion, players can craft new bags in World of Warcraft again. With Battle for Azeroth, they can create the currently second-largest bags – there is only a larger one for a lot of gold.
Bags through professions: Tailors in Battle for Azeroth receive two new recipes for containers. The Deep Sea Bag offers 30 bag slots, and the Embroidered Deep Sea Bag even offers 32.
Tailoring: Crafting bags in Battle for Azeroth
You receive the recipe for the 32-slot bag Embroidered Deep Sea Bag randomly from some humanoid enemies on Kul Tiras. However, to learn it, you need Tailoring from Kul Tiras/Zandalar at skill level 150.
Crafting the Embroidered Deep Sea Bag: There are three ranks for the Embroidered Deep Sea Bag. Ranks 2 and 3 each reduce the material costs:
- Rank 1: 75x Embroidered Deep Sea Satin, 10x Expulsom, 3x Hydro Kern
- Rank 2: 70x Embroidered Deep Sea Satin, 7x Expulsom, 2x Hydro Kern
- Rank 3: 65x Embroidered Deep Sea Satin, 5x Expulsom, 1x Hydro Kern
Tailors can produce the Embroidered Deep Sea Satin themselves from Deep Sea Satin, Misty Linen, and Nylon Threads. You currently obtain Hydro Kern from Mythic Dungeons (soulbound) and Expulsom from the Junk-o-Matic/Shredder Master.
Cheaper 30-slot bags: If you don’t know any tailors who fight through Mythic Dungeons or are a brave little tailor yourself, you can also fall back on a cheaper recipe.
The Deep Sea Bag can be learned at a skill of 85:
- Rank 1: 30x Deep Sea Satin, 15x Misty Linen, 15x Nylon Thread
- Rank 2: 28x Deep Sea Satin, 14x Misty Linen, 14x Nylon Thread (Tailoring 110)
- Rank 3: 25x Deep Sea Satin, 12x Misty Linen, 12x Nylon Thread (Tailoring 125)
Even larger bags for a lot of money: If you need even more than 32 slots, you can also buy the “Luggage of the Insane.” You can get this from a secret vendor in Dalaran, where you also get the Bloodfang Widow, an extremely expensive spider mount.
However, the bag can only be equipped once and costs a whopping 500,000 gold pieces.
