During BlizzCon, World of Warcraft revealed the racial abilities of the Kul Tirans, the new allied race of the Alliance.
It has been known for a while that the people of Kul Tiras will be the next allied race of the Alliance in World of Warcraft. During Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance, the Kul Tirans will join the Alliance and can then be chosen as a race.
What racial abilities do Kul Tirans have? Like all races, they also have unique racial abilities that distinguish them from “ordinary” humans. Here are their passive and active racial bonuses:
- Brush it off: Increases versatility and heals a portion of damage taken.
- Child of the Sea: Can hold breath longer underwater and swim faster.
- Haymaker: Delivers a powerful blow and stuns a target, knocking it back.
- Jack of All Trades: Increases proficiency in all crafting professions.
- Rime of the Ancient Mariner: Takes less frost and nature damage.
The exact values of these abilities are not yet known, but a stun as a racial bonus appears to be very powerful – it is likely that the stun will last only a very short time.
Which classes can Kul Tirans choose? The class selection for Kul Tirans has now also been officially confirmed. The people of Kul Tiras can choose from the following classes:
- Druid
- Hunter
- Monk
- Priest
- Rogue
- Shaman
- Warrior
When can we play Kul Tirans? Kul Tirans will be available no earlier than with Patch 8.1. There is no release date for it yet, but it is playable on the PTR. However, even after the release, it may take a while for the new races (Kul Tirans and Zandalari) to be unlocked.
Are you looking forward to the Kul Tirans? Will you play one? Or are you not interested in the “Allied Races” at all?
