The Grizzly Hills from World of Warcraft have now been recreated in Unreal Engine 4. The sight invites dreaming!
World of Warcraft is known and famous for many things – but certainly no longer for its graphic style. The comic-style graphics have aged remarkably well and suit the look of the game world, but they can no longer impress anyone today. Some fans have therefore set themselves the goal of faithfully recreating the game world of World of Warcraft in Unreal Engine 4, just to see how Azeroth might look with contemporary, more realistic graphics.
The YouTuber Daniel L has transferred areas into Unreal Engine 4 repeatedly in the past.
His latest “victim” is the Grizzly Hills from the expansion Wrath of the Lich King.
As usual, the video features a small tour through particularly well-known places in this zone, such as the Ammertann Lodge and the Skyfall Post.
While the area is one of the most beautiful in World of Warcraft, with large forests, many rivers, and beautiful meadows, there are some dark secrets here. The Vordrassil, a world tree that was cursed by the Old Gods, once stood here and was therefore cut down.
Other areas that Daniel L has implemented can be viewed here:

How do you like the Grizzly Hills in the enhanced graphics? Would this be a cool place to linger? Or does it simply not match the typical WoW charm?
