A long dream is finally coming true. You will soon be able to worship Sylvanas Windrunner in World of Warcraft as the Banshee Queen.
If the game world of World of Warcraft has one thing, it is great characters with plenty of backstory. Whether you like the story of the latest expansions or not – characters like Arthas, Thrall, or Sylvanas are known by almost everyone, even if just by their appearance.
However, this very appearance is in demand, and many wish to look like these characters in World of Warcraft as well. At least in the case of Sylvanas Windrunner, this will soon happen.
What was found? The data miners from wowhead have already found a transmog set in the game data of patch 11.0.5 that is expected to be available at the trading post during the winter months. The “Ensemble: Dark Ranger General’s Kit” is currently set to cost a proud 850 trader currencies, but it will provide you with the complete look of the Banshee Queen.
This is the armor that Sylvanas wore between “Wrath of the Lich King” and “Legion” – the midriff-baring outfit that was later replaced by a slightly more concealing variant.

For those who have always wanted to play as the Dark Lady and are already stomping around as a Dark Ranger in-game, this could be the fulfillment of a long-held wish.
Is this normal in WoW? It is rather unusual to obtain the exact gear that notable NPCs wear in World of Warcraft – aside from direct loot that a boss might drop in a raid, such as Garrosh and his notorious shoulder pieces.
There have been instances of similar items, such as some items inspired by Medivh.
However, the fact that there is now a whole set with which you can essentially replicate Sylvanas’s look 1:1 is a new development.
Since this is about Sylvanas’s “old” model and thus gear that she has not used for many years, the step here is likely to have been easier.
When will the set be released? There is no specific date yet for the release of the transmog set. However, since it has been found in the game data of patch 11.0.5, it will likely appear at the trading post no earlier than November – or in the following months. Please note that this information is not final, and the price or release window may still change. It is also conceivable that the set will end up in the regular shop – even though that seems unlikely given that it has already been assigned a clear value in trader currencies.
