Virtually unlimited power – that’s what World of Warcraft Legion Remix promises. However, the first players have completed it and are “done”. The grind was indeed that insane.
In the “Retail” version of World of Warcraft, most players are currently in the temporary mode “WoW Legion Remix”. There, you can relive the old content, but in a drastically accelerated version with new effects and numerous cosmetic rewards.
One promise of Remix is that you can become infinitely powerful. Infinite? Well, not quite. Because there are some natural limits that also exist in Legion Remix. The item level cap is already set at 740, which has already been reached by a number of players. But then there’s still “Eternal Power” to farm in order to continually strengthen the final talent of the artifact weapon.
The limit here is at 999 invested points. However, the first players have managed that, and they now reveal what this achievement means.
How was the maximum reached? The player Present_Finance5219 explained in the WoW subreddit how his character Iegion achieved the maximum amount of Eternal Power at high speed. If you think there’s a secret turbo way, you’re mistaken – because it was a hard, long grind. A total of around 700 dungeons in the “Mythic+” category were completed, mainly between levels 25 and 30.
According to the player, these levels offer the perfect balance between rewarding incentives (in the form of Eternal Power) and speed. However, it requires a group of five like-minded individuals to maximize efficiency.
Individual dungeons were also completed at incredibly fast speeds. He reveals the record times as well, given in minutes and seconds:
- The Arc – 1:13
- Neltharion’s Lair – 1:49
- The Ravencrest – 3:36
- Halls of Valor – 4:37
The high speeds are also attributable to the group’s usual strategy of splitting up. Especially in the Arc, you can send one player to each boss and thus finish at a rapid pace.
The Arc is by far the most rewarding dungeon, as it offers the most rewards. The reward is determined by the (theoretical) length of a dungeon.
All this power also came at a price: time. The undertaking took a total of 7 days and 10 hours of playtime. Especially in the last 6 days, he spent 11 to 13 hours each day solely visiting dungeons.
500% less damage – yet not immune
How strong are 999 levels in the artifact weapon? 999 levels in the final point of the artifact weapon correspond to a versatility of 999% – the character deals 999% more damage. At the same time, the damage taken by the character is reduced by 490.5%. Although a value of over 100% should technically absorb all damage, the character is not invulnerable. There is indeed an internal ceiling, preventing any character from being completely immune to damage.
If you’re not in a hurry, there’s no need to panic and try to reach 999% versatility as well. Because in the upcoming phases of Legion Remix, there are still plenty of opportunities to collect Eternal Power, and the rate of power gain will even increase, as you will receive additional points of Eternal Knowledge. Nevertheless, it’s impressive to see how enthusiastically some have played this temporary mode to already reach the end of the line.
However, those who are not quite as strong can already secure other advantages – namely 5 portals for your entire account, forever.
