After today’s maintenance work, some players experienced a display error and were consequently able to see the announced payment service in the in-game shop of World of Warcraft: the boost to level 90. If nothing changes, the price for the immediate rise to level 90 is a hefty $60, which is approximately €45.
With the announcement of “Warlords of Draenor“, this service was discussed. Every player receives a character at level 90 for free with the purchase of the expansion, allowing them to dive right into the action.
It remains to be seen whether this price is final, as it is significantly higher than the cost of the actual expansion, which typically only amounts to €30-40 – thus, it would be cheaper to simply buy additional versions of “Warlords of Draenor” – a price reduction of the service is therefore likely.
