Some players in World of Warcraft are particularly crazy. An elf leveled her character exclusively through pet battles!
If you find that you no longer have enough fun and challenges in everyday life in World of Warcraft, you might look for other tasks. There was the Pandaren “Doubleagent”, who never left the Pandaren island and reached the maximum level only through herbalism. Or the player who only gained experience points by exploring the world and did not participate in any battles.
Now, a new character joins this category of things that a normal WoW player generally should not do, because sooner or later, madness knocks at the door.
Nearly 800 pets at maximum level
The night elf priestess Kyirai from the Silvermoon server has brought her character to level 110 – solely through pet battles! Many players do not even know that pet battles also bring a certain percentage of normal experience points. However, the percentage of a full level-up decreases with each character level, so it likely took weeks to achieve this goal.
Unfortunately, Kyirai did not keep track of how many pet battles it took. However, it is evident from the achievements that currently 797 of her 827 pets have reached the maximum level 25. She probably has enough pets for all the challenges that will come in the future.
The goal was likely made easier by the repeatable quests that pet battlers can complete. These also grant a portion of experience points and rewards for pets, but otherwise provide no significant character progression.
The result is now a level 110 character with an item level of exactly 0. You have to hand it to her to achieve that.
