Battle for Azeroth brings tons of new content to World of Warcraft. It also has to look good. Blizzard is already taking care of the appearance of Battle for Azeroth. Data miners have now found new models and polished old textures.
New models and improved textures: In Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard is thoroughly polishing existing textures. Some old models, such as those of fire elementals and naga, are getting a makeover. They are likely to get attention thanks to the Island Expeditions.
But there will also be new models. In Battle for Azeroth, fluffy alpacas are making their way into the game! Whether these cute cloven-hoofed animals are suitable as hunter pets or just decoration for the environment is not yet known. However, fans hope for an alpaca mount.
More detail for notable characters: Some models are even getting a little more love in Battle for Azeroth. They receive not only polish or a new model, but are also equipped with new details.
For example, Jaina Proudmoore gets an anchor as a necklace. Jaina is one of the main characters of the addon, and the anchor is the emblem of the seafaring kingdom of Kul Tiras. Jaina shows her connection to it – despite some issues with her people.
Larvae and ghosts: Besides fiery opponents and pretty protagonists, Blizzard is also taking care of the less beloved inhabitants of Azeroth. Larvae, which can mainly be found in plague areas, are getting a polish.
A new model is available for banshees and ghosts. The haunting figures now resemble floating corpses rather than distorted spirits. What Blizzard plans to do with the undead is not yet certain.
