Although World of Warcraft: Legion is nearing its end, the actual maximum power of the characters has not yet been fully realized. Just about a week ago, we reported that the artifact weapons can be immediately upgraded to level 126 with a new quest line immediately to level 126. But the weapon is still getting more powerful.
More levels over time. Some players on reddit have noticed that their artifact weapon did not stay at level 125, but reached level 126 after two days and continued to grow. When looking at the artifact weapon, players see the display for artifact power that constantly ticks up, but that seems to be just an optical effect. The actual power increase is influenced by other factors – probably a fixed period of time.
More power without artifact power. However, it is no longer necessary to spend tokens for artifact power for the increase in the weapon’s power. These can be sold to vendors without hesitation to pocket a few additional gold coins. They no longer serve any gameplay purpose.
What do the additional levels bring? More and more levels in the artifact weapon slightly increase the character’s health points, but above all the effect “Unity of the Legion Judges,” which occasionally grants players a particularly powerful buff. The strength of this buff increases with each level. This makes some challenges, such as the notorious Mage Tower, but also mythical bosses in raids a bit easier.
