Many contents from Argus in WoW are now also accessible for second characters. We reveal what it’s all about.
Most players of World of Warcraft have been working through the quest line of Argus, the new zone from patch 7.3, for a while now. And while the Argus campaign is certainly one of the highlights of Legion, it becomes a bit less exciting after the third or fourth playthrough.
However, this was previously necessary if one wanted to unlock the world quests or even the new world bosses in the invasions with second characters. Players who had not completed the entire campaign were barred from these contents.
Hotfix removes campaign requirement for twinks
Along with the PvP hotfix from this morning (27.09.2017), which brought some nerfs for the druid, there were two other significant changes.
- World quests and treasures in the Antoran Wastes are now account-wide accessible as soon as the chapter “The Attack Begins” on Argus is completed.
- Invasion points and Major Invasion points are now account-wide accessible as soon as the chapter “Dark Awakening” on Argus is completed.
In plain language, this means that only one character needs to complete the Argus campaign to grant second, third, and fourth characters access to the contents with the fancy loot.
The corresponding quest lines can still be completed for rewards. If desired, players can experience the Argus campaign many more times – only the unlocks are no longer tied to the first completion.
What do you think of these changes? Is it a good thing that you only have to do everything once? Or did you find the requirements good?
Have you heard about the strange things that supposedly happened in Goldshire…?
