Over the years, every adversary in World of Warcraft has had their turn to reach for power. Some had very brief appearances, while others got several chances (Yes, I’m looking at you, Kael’thas!) to make the world or at least a continent of Azeroth their subject. So far, no one has succeeded, as the players have always had a say.
The YouTuber Hamuu Gaming has edited together a series of WoW cinematics and set it to the song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Lorde. You can see the impressive effect it creates here:
Even at the risk of being accused of excessive WoW affection in the comments, this video truly gave me goosebumps. The visuals fit wonderfully well with the text, and I rode a nostalgia wave from start to finish.
