Swap Blaster
The swap blaster is one of the most confusing items in World of Warcraft if the victim has never heard of it. The user selects a group or raid member in range and uses the swap blaster. After a short cast time, both characters swap positions – spontaneously and without a clearly recognizable animation.
The catch: After teleportation, the victim looks exactly in the direction the user was previously looking. Additionally, the victim retains its current movement form.
If the user places himself right in front of an abyss and looks directly at it while the chosen victim is running, then that one will walk straight into the abyss and find certain death.
Note that when using the swap blaster, your character will try to turn towards the victim. However, you can correct your view by pressing the right mouse button to look back at the abyss before the “spell” completes.
The possibilities of the swap blaster are virtually endless.
Especially priests can also ensure that some victims are blamed for faults, such as during a boss pull. A priest can approach a boss using “Fade” without pulling it – but by swapping with the swap blaster, the victim is within aggro range and immediately triggers the fight. In most raid addons, it then says that the victim triggered the fight. Especially beautiful if a hunter gets caught. You have to contribute to keeping their bad reputation alive.
Where can I get the Swap Blaster? You can get the swap blaster in just a few seconds as it is crafted by engineering. Unlike many other items from this profession, you can use the swap blaster even if you are not an engineer yourself! Just look for it in the auction house, there are usually several hundred swap blasters available.
However, the swap blaster is not a toy, so you will need to purchase it on the character with which you want to use it.
