Which class in World of Warcraft is the best in pure class combat? One wants to find out and lets 40 Warlocks fight against 40 Warriors.
Which class is actually the strongest in World of Warcraft? This can certainly be discussed at length. However, the player Rextroy has taken it upon himself to find out simply in open combat. In one of his latest videos, he poses the question: Who wins in a battle between 40 Warriors and 40 Warlocks?
How did he do that? In World of Warcraft, you can hold “trial matches” against other players. While this does not grant any honor, you can choose all participants in the war games and thus decide exactly who plays against whom.
Thus, Rextroy was able to organize a total of 40 Warriors and 40 Warlocks.
Why did it end so quickly? This was mainly due to two circumstances. On the one hand, the Warlocks had massive area damage and stuns with their Felhunters and Shadowfury, which brought the first Warriors quickly to the brink of death.
But lag also played a significant role here. With so many characters, companions, and spells, there were certainly delays. These are usually more problematic for melee fighters, as melee attacks are more likely to be interrupted and not executed. In contrast, with a spell, it is more common that it is still cast since the high range makes it less likely for the target to become unresponsive.
Warriors were decisively defeated: The result was quite clear, and over the course of the 5 rounds, the Warriors were decisively beaten every time. Rextroy writes down the results in his video description:
- Round 1: Warlocks achieved 40 kills, Warriors got 3 kills
- Round 2: Warlocks achieved 39 kills, Warriors got 16 kills
- Round 3: Warriors achieved 39 kills, Warlocks got 28 kills
- Round 4: Warlocks achieved 38 kills, Warriors got 10 kills
- Round 5: Warlocks achieved 38 kills, Warriors got 8 kills
The Warriors were only able to win a single round and were otherwise repeatedly defeated by the Warlocks, no matter how they tried to adjust their strategy.
Does this mean Warriors need buffs? Of course, the video is more meant for fun and not as a real analysis of which class is better. Usually, classes in PvP work together synergistically with other players, and each class has a place there. Only in “class stacking” can there be such massive differences that make it seem obvious.
Did you think the result would be so drastically in favor of the Warlocks?
