WoW is now 12 years old and is entering its “difficult age.” We tell you what rewards are available.
Perhaps one shouldn’t think about it too long, as it makes one aware of their own age, but World of Warcraft has become another year older again. For the 12th birthday of the MMORPG from Blizzard, there are some gifts and bonuses that can be enjoyed from November 16 to November 30. As is usual in MMOs, however, the gifts go to the players, not the developers – otherwise it would be awkward for us.
Everyone who logs into the game will receive a letter with their character that includes some goodies:
- 200 Time-Lost Badges
- Holiday Package – Grants 12% additional experience and reputation from killing monsters for one hour (infinitely reusable – until November 30)
- Letter from the Timewalkers (Quest starter)
The quest leads you to Stormwind (Alliance) or Orgrimmar (Horde), so you stand in front of your faction’s respective holiday merchant. This merchant has a daily quest, for which a lot of gold and 25 Time-Lost Badges are at stake. And before anyone asks: Yes, those are the same badges that are usually obtained from the Timewalking dungeons.
For the badges, additional rewards can also be purchased during the event, for the first time exclusively the Corgi Pup. In addition, there are rewards from the previous year, such as the costume of Edwin VanCleef and some transformation wands.
Since the mail is also sent to all twinks, one can especially level up second and third characters well in the coming two weeks, taking advantage of the 12% bonus.
