World of Warships will revise the skills of the ship commanders with the upcoming update 0.6. There will also be new abilities and a system to gain experience points beyond the maximum level.
In World of Warships, it’s not just about the ship; the captain on the bridge also decides victory or defeat. The skills that your commander brings into battle have always been important and game-changing, but many abilities were previously not well balanced.
More and Better Skills!
With update 0.6, this will change. On January 18, 2017, the skills of the captains will be redistributed. There will then be four categories with a total of 32 skills. Of these, 16 are redesigned old acquaintances, and seven are completely new. For example, a skill that allows you to launch squadrons from an aircraft carrier even with a burning flight deck. However, the reloading of the aircraft will then take twice as long.
Also new: Commanders can now, like ships, achieve elite status when they reach the maximum level. Their further experience points will then be credited to a special account, which you can use to retrain or promote other commanders, similar to how free experience points work for ships. More details about update 0.6.0 and the new skills can be found on the Wargaming site in the source reference.
