Last night, World of Warcraft: Legion entered the beta phase – but who has been invited?

Fans still have to wait at least six more months for the release of Legion, the next addon for World of Warcraft. However, it seems that progress is being made in the development process, as the first invitations for an early test were sent out yesterday.
Traditionally, Blizzard starts with a “Friends & Family” beta. As the name suggests, mainly family members of the developers and selected fan sites (such as wowhead) receive access.
According to initial reports, the beta is still in a very early stage and you can currently only view the starting areas of the Demon Hunter.
In the coming weeks and months, the “F&F Beta” will gradually transition into a closed beta, from which streamers, press members, and regular players will be selected through a lottery system.
