The WoW expansion Legion finally has an official release date – the demon invasion begins in August.
Release date of World of Warcraft: Legion August 30, 2016!
Fans of World of Warcraft have had to wait a long, long time for new content. Today Blizzard announced a fixed release date for the launch of World of Warcraft: Legion on the official game site. Accordingly, Legion will celebrate its worldwide release on August 30, 2016.
The expansion can already be pre-ordered, providing all veterans and new players with a free boost to character level 100. This allows players to jump right into the current endgame content without having to struggle through the “old” content first.
In World of Warcraft: Legion, everything revolves around the titular Burning Legion, which, triggered by Gul’dan, launches another assault on Azeroth, aiming to bring the rebellious world under its burning claws and hooves. In addition to new quest areas, much focus is on artifact weapons: Each specialization receives its own legendary weapon, which improves over weeks and months with the character, has its own talent trees and abilities, and moreover offers an exciting class story.
