In WoW, the raid party will soon continue. The new raid “The Nighthold” has specific release dates.
While most players of World of Warcraft are currently collecting their last boss kills in the heroic difficulty levels of the Trial of Valor and the Emerald Nightmare, Blizzard is already rolling out the next raid. The Nighthold is the next stop and the first “tier raid” of Legion.
The Nighthold serves as the centerpiece of the elven city of Suramar and is, unlike the Nightmare, a rather “beautiful” instance. Among the opponents are the closest advisors of Grand Magistrix Elisande, as well as demons like Krosus (from the Broken Shore) and the corrupted Gul’dan, who waits at the very end. According to the developers’ vision, the goal was to portray Suramar in all its glory, as a jewel of night elf high culture. This and the magic of the Nightwell were meant to form the core of one of the most beautiful raid dungeons that have existed in WoW for a long time – most players have had enough of the “red” of the Emerald Nightmare for a while.
The opening dates of the Nighthold
As is usual in World of Warcraft, the different difficulty levels of the Nighthold will open at different times. This gives the “pro raiders” a week’s head start to check out the normal and heroic difficulty levels before heading into the mythic mode.
- January 18: Normal and heroic difficulty
- January 25: Mythic difficulty and LFR Wing 1
- February 8: LFR Wing 2
- February 22: LFR Wing 3
- March 8: LFR Wing 4
In the meantime, the story surrounding Suramar has also concluded. Over the course of several weeks, the Suramar campaign was gradually supplemented with new quests. Coinciding with the raid’s launch,
