Professional gamer Mirza Jahic has written a book about his journey, in which he gives tips to other players on how they could turn their hobby into a profession. We are giving away ten copies of the book “From Hobby Gamer to Pro Gamer”.
Who is Mirza Jahic? The professional gamer from Austria has made a name for himself with his successes in FIFA tournaments. He has been playing FIFA professionally since 2011. In the beginning of his career, he participated in all sorts of small tournaments to compete against the strongest opponents possible.
In November 2017, Mirza was signed by the renowned German eSports organization SK Gaming. With his help, SK Gaming aims to enhance their FIFA team for the World Championship.
What is the book about? Primarily, Mirza writes about his personal experiences on his way to becoming a professional FIFA eSports player. What are the mistakes made at the beginning of such a career? What tricks do the professionals use to continually improve?
But the professional gamer also addresses topics like the right lifestyle. He talks in the book about how one should communicate their ambitions to enter the professional eSports scene correctly with their family. Or that the long hours of sitting when gaming should also be balanced out with physical training.
The book is therefore a mix of gameplay aspects related to FIFA and advice on how to stay mentally and physically fit on the way to pro-gaming.
