With the Reload Update, the world bosses in WildStar have been revamped to be interesting for high-level players as well.
The Step Between Dungeons and Raids
A lot has changed with the Reloaded Update in WildStar, and the world bosses are no exception. Instead of only being interesting for the level range of their respective tier, the world bosses are now designed for players at level 50. A large group of about 20 people, including 2 tanks, 3 healers, and 15 damage dealers is needed. While it’s possible to take on the big monsters with fewer (or more) players, one should be prepared to live with the consequences of an easier or harder fight.
The bosses are especially meant to be interesting for players who bravely conquer experienced dungeons but do not yet feel strong enough for the first raids. But not only strong equipment awaits, but also a lot of rare house and mount items, as well as decoration items, with which even well-equipped players can secure one or another surprise.
Forcing the Respawn
As is customary for world bosses, they have a relatively high respawn time. However, if you don’t want to wait two days for the chosen adversary to appear, you can now force the respawn. By engaging in various activities such as dungeons, public events, and Protostar contracts, Progenitor access particles can be collected. These can be used to summon the corresponding boss at specific consoles before they actually appear, which can be found in the boss encounter area.
Finally, the accessibility of the 11 world bosses in all zones has been improved. Dominion players now have some cemeteries in the Exiles’ territory and vice versa. This makes all bosses significantly easier to access for all players.
