A new event allows players of WildStar to collect various decorations that can be used to build their own spaceships.
Grinding Expeditions for Spaceship Parts
From December 9th to December 18th, WildStar hosts a new in-game event, the Space Hunt. For this purpose, two traders from Ekose have settled in Illium (Dominion) and Thayd (Exiles) and offer special vouchers in exchange for Eko particles, which can then be exchanged for housing decorations. The Eko particles are a reward for all expeditions as long as they correspond to your level. For level 50, this means that all expeditions in experienced mode are available to you.
If you bravely battle through the mini-instances, you can secure numerous spaceship parts to create your own model on the Skyplot. If you’re not that creative, you can simply replicate the standard models of the different flyers – they still look quite nice. The event is also suitable for earning a few quick platinum coins! If you have no use for the Eko particles, you can sell them to your fellow players so they can exchange them for vouchers themselves.
Real Money Instead of Expeditions
If you have no time or desire to hack your way through the various expeditions for the needed Eko particles, you can simply pull out your wallet. Simultaneously with the event, there are various boxes in the in-game shop that can contain the same rewards and additionally offer the chance of some extras.
Special NPCs and unique soundtracks for the right atmosphere in housing should provide enough incentive to invest a euro or two in NCoins. The boxes can also be paid for with the currency Omnibits, which can be earned in the game.
WildStar is currently in another slump, can such events generate some attention again?
