Wildstar introduced one of the coolest Halloween events we have ever experienced in an MMO last year with the “Night of Shadows“. Those who missed the Night of Shadows last year or can’t get enough of it will soon have the chance again to beg for candy in housing or take on Shadow-Jack in Stummbühl.
The developers of Wildstar have come up with something special for Halloween, as they have created a cool equivalent in the game world for the old Celtic festival: The Night of Shadows. On this day, people remember a terrible plague that nearly wiped out the entire population of Cassius in the past and could only be cured through the sacrifice of a young girl and her DNA.
Party in the Capital and the Horror in Stummbühl
Therefore, both factions will decorate their capitals with spooky decor from October 19 to November 1 and offer fun quests to obtain shadow silver. We will then exchange this currency for special Halloween items and costumes, including the iconic Shadow-Jack costume or the golden wig of the girl Seraphina.
However, the best part of the Halloween event is the exclusive instance “Stummbühl”, a secluded village where horrific things are happening and a tough boss fight against Shadow-Jack himself is ahead. Furthermore, we can indulge our Halloween decorating craze in WildStar housing and decorate our pad in a particularly creepy way. To let other players notice, we place bowls full of candy that our fellow players can pick up as part of a specific quest.
