Starting this afternoon, out of nowhere, the new content patch “Invasion on Nexus” for WildStar is live and brings a lot of improvements for veterans, but also for new players. We have summarized the biggest highlights for you here.
The StarKom Basin – new daily area
A new zone with daily quests and cross-zone events that can change every day. Three enemy factions are fighting for control of the Eldan technology and you are the fourth party. Depending on who currently controls the basin, the available missions will change, providing variety for at least a few days.
The Holo Wardrobe
Costumes can now be stored and edited much more easily and account-wide through the Holo Wardrobe, allowing you to always have your favorite outfits ready and to use them for your small twinks as well.
At the same time, inventory space is freed up since you unlock the appearance of an item and can then destroy it, which means more space for important things (like housing items).
Contracts – For a little snack in between
Those who do not have much time will especially appreciate the new contracts. These are small, short PvE or PvP missions for which you can already snag relatively good rewards. A personal progress bar entices with additional loot and the large variety of tasks offers something suitable for every player type.
