Earlier than expected, WildStar launches on Steam and entices with new package offers for the “relaunch”.
Things are heating up on Steam tomorrow
… and then it all happened faster than expected. Carbine has announced when WildStar will be available on the gaming platform Steam. In a new post from the developers, the release date was revealed just in the nick of time.
Accordingly, WildStar will already launch tomorrow, June 9, 2016, on the Steam platform.
With the release on Steam comes the introduction of the new currency Protobucks. This replaces the former NCoins. To appropriately celebrate the release on Steam, new package deals will also be offered to ease newcomers’ entry into WildStar – of course, these offers also apply to existing players who can benefit from the discount as well.
Generally, WildStar is a Free2Play title and can consequently be played for free. You can find the link to WildStar’s Steam page here.
