The upcoming Free2Play MMO WildStar has lifted the restrictions from the closed beta. It is now an open beta.
At WildStar, they plan to switch to a Free2Play model with WildStar: Reloaded on September 29 at 6:00 AM our time. The exact time for the switch was recently announced.
To test all of this, a closed beta has been running for a while. It has now been converted into an open beta. There were apparently issues with expired keys, and Carbine decided “Unleash the beta!”, from which everyone now benefits.
