WildStar is getting its next content update soon, providing PvP players with a new arena.
Too risky for Protostar
The first major content update since the transition to Free2Play is coming to WildStar soon. After focusing on expanding PvE in the past, it is now time to provide PvP players with fresh content. The last update there, the battlefield Dolchsteinpass with the game mode “Sabotage,” is almost a year in the past.
A new developer blog brings good news: The Cryoplex Arena is nearly finished! The map is located in southern Olyssia, in the area of the Sharptop Peaks. The place was basically a test ground for the Nexus project. Here, the Eldan tested the first effects of the element of primal earth.
Protostar actually wanted to make the area easier for its resources, but the inhospitable landscape prevented that – thus, the old Eldan lab, now only called Kryoplex, is still full of secrets.
At least in the pictures, it looks like the new arena is significantly larger than its predecessors. You can carry the battle to your enemies over several levels and give them a proper lecture amid Eldan ruins.
Although there is no exact date for the patch yet, it is said to be “soon.”
