Players who don’t want to level up in WildStar can soon bypass this for real money. Carbine is offering a level boost.
Max Level and Fully Equipped, Please.
For many players, the leveling phase is the best part of an MMORPG, as it allows players to explore different areas and see constant progress in story and character strength. However, another portion of players finds leveling tedious and would sometimes wish to skip this “annoying phase” of the game. This wish will be granted in the future with WildStar, as the game will provide a service through the character selection that allows a fresh hero to be directly boosted to level 50.
To ensure players are not “naked in the rain”, there is also a starter package included for character enhancement, allowing direct entry into the high-level adventures of the game. This package includes the following items:
- Solid gear for level 50 (both attack and support gear)
- A race-specific mount
- Some platinum coins
- The rewards of the chosen path
- Some ancestral gems
- Direct access to housing
The next version of the public test realm (PTR) is supposed to have this service available for testing. The boost is particularly suitable if you want to try one of the new race and class combinations directly at the maximum level, such as the Aurin Tech Pioneer or the Chua Warrior.
The exact cost of this character boost is still unknown – nor is it clear whether it can only be purchased with real money or also with the alternative currency. A concrete date for the update is also still pending, but it is to be expected that the feature will be released simultaneously with the launch of the new raid “The Terror of Red Moon”.
