The Elder Scrolls Online is currently celebrating the anniversary of the Orsinium DLC. There is once again a free subscription for all registered players. This is especially worth it on Monday.
What is the Orsinium Event? Until August 19, you can experience the Orsinium Event in ESO. Four years ago, the major DLC for the Orc land Orsinium was released for the first time, and it is still considered one of the best DLCs by ESO fans due to its intricate story and cool insights into Orc society.
To celebrate the Orsinium release, you can purchase the DLC at a special price and earn additional and new rewards while exploring the homeland of the Orcs. Additionally, there are:
- 60 percent discount on the DLC itself, also as a Deluxe Package
- The very expensive house “Gipfel des Ausgestoßenen” for 20 percent less, costing “only” 63 euros instead of 78 euros
- Twice as many items when collecting crafting supplies
- Twice as many rewards from the Maelstrom Arena chests
- Twice as many reward boxes for dailies in Wrothgar
- New costume styles for the Maelstrom weapons
- New furniture from Orsinium for housing
- Event tickets to get yourself a cool Indrik as a mount or pet and score free ESO Plus
Play DLC Scalebreaker for free on Monday
Here’s why ESO is particularly worthwhile right now: The Orsinium event alone is worth it, but if you don’t have the DLC and don’t want to buy it, you can play it for free from August 8 to August 13, 2019. During this time, the developers are giving every ESO player a free subscription to “ESO Plus”. You just need to select it in-game via the Crown Store.
This includes not only private storage for crafting materials but also free access to all DLCs and addons (except for the current addon Elsweyr). So you can also play Orsinium for free during this time if you haven’t purchased it yet. But that’s not all.
What PC players can expect on Monday: The latest DLC, Scalebreaker, will be released for PC on Monday, August 12. On the release day, it will also be part of the ESO Plus total package. So you can play it immediately at launch for one day and possibly rock through the two new dungeons and the new quest with Sai Sahan if you hustle.
