The Lavados Day in Pokémon GO is happening this weekend. It will bring you shiny Lavados with special attacks.
This coming Saturday, September 8th, playing Pokémon GO is especially worthwhile. One of the strongest Fire attackers, Lavados, is returning as a boss and appears in special forms.
Why should I participate in the event? Lavados will be active as a raid boss for only a few hours. You will receive 5 free raid passes, giving you 5 chances to catch the monster. This opportunity should definitely be used, as Lavados also appears in its rare shiny form.
Lavados Day in Pokémon GO
If you paused playing Pokémon GO and are still undecided about returning, you should definitely check in on Saturday. Because on September 8th, it’s Lavados Day, bringing the legendary Fire bird back to the arenas.
How long will Lavados stay? As a boss, Lavados will only remain in the raids of Pokémon GO for 3 hours. Therefore, you should definitely play during this time window.
What makes Lavados special? Lavados is a legendary Pokémon from the first generation. It is considered one of the strongest Fire attackers in Pokémon GO – sometimes even regarded as the strongest Fire attacker.
Special form and attack: If you’re lucky, you’ll see Lavados in its shiny form (left in the image) and can catch it. The shiny form of Lavados is a special highlight in your Pokémon collection, as this form is rare.

Time: The Lavados Day starts in Germany on September 8th at 11:00 AM and lasts for 3 hours until 2:00 PM.
When will Lavados have Sky Attack? All Lavados caught during the event time from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on September 8th will have Sky Attack.
Where can you find Lavados? The monster can be found in arenas worldwide. It is assumed that Lavados will be a level 4 boss.
Participate for free: Normally, you only get one free raid pass per day. If you spin the photo disc of an arena during the event time, you will receive up to 5 passes (maximum of 5 free per day).
