Sony is promoting a new campaign for PlayStation Plus. If you subscribe for a year now, you will get the first-person shooter Far Cry 4 for free.
If your “PS Plus” subscription has just expired or you don’t have one, Sony now wants to entice you with a new offer for the paid online service.
By subscribing to a twelve-month membership, you will receive the first-person shooter Far Cry 4 (for PS4) for free.
However, the offer is only valid if you do not have an active “PS Plus” membership at the time of purchase. The promotion does not apply to subscription renewals.
PlayStation Plus costs 59.99 euros for the annual subscription. This price also applies to the offer, which runs from now until February 12, 2018, at 11 a.m.
What benefits does PS Plus provide me? PS Plus is required for most online games on the PS4 to play together with or against other players. Additionally, you receive a selection of “free games” included in the subscription every month. Other benefits, such as 10 GB of online storage and exclusive discounts, are also available.
As a gift for subscribing to a yearly plan, Sony offers the digital full version of Far Cry 4 – the standard version. This usually costs 20 euros, but is currently available for 12 euros in the PlayStation Store (until February 8).
Far Cry 4 is a first-person shooter by Ubisoft that was released in 2014. It is the fourth installment in the “Far Cry” series. Far Cry 5 is expected in 2018.
In Far Cry 4, you travel to Kyrat, a fictional country in the Himalayas. There, you find yourself in a civil war aimed at overthrowing the oppressive regime of the dictator and self-proclaimed king Pagan Min.
It is a first-person shooter where you can complete various story missions as well as numerous side quests in an open world. You fight not only against Pagan Min’s henchmen but also against the local wildlife.
