The new spin-off to Resident Evil, Project Resistance, shows first gameplay of the 4-versus-1 mode. It appeals to many horror fans, especially those who secretly enjoy villains like Jigsaw. The special thing is that one of you can play the villain and must terrorize the other players.
This is Project Resistance: It is a spin-off of the Resident Evil series. Developer Capcom now shows the first gameplay from the 4-versus-1 mode.
A special feature of the game is that one of you gets to play the villain, the Mastermind. He must then try to hinder the other players in solving puzzles and eliminate them.
In general, the game is somewhat reminiscent of Dead by Daylight, as you can also play a killer here.

This is the gameplay: In a clip that lasts over 10 minutes, you see an entire match from the perspective of all players:
Here you can see what the players need to do to win. They have to find objects and solve puzzles to open doors and progress.
The player who plays the Mastermind can only navigate using cameras. This is reminiscent of Jigsaw from the horror classic SAW. He can obstruct the opponents’ path to the goal and even summon creatures that attack the other players. The monsters can then be controlled by the player.
The goal here is to always stay one step ahead of the survivors and set strategic traps.
This is what the survivors do: The Master’s opponents have special abilities to win the game and escape. You have to work together to succeed.
What else does the game offer? The 1-versus-4 mode is intended to be the centerpiece of Project Resistance. However, there will also be a single-player mode where you will go through a campaign.
When does Project Resistance come out? There is no exact release date yet. However, there will be a closed beta for PS4 and Xbox One between October 4 and 7, where you can get first impressions of the game.
