With currently 75 episodes under her belt, Special Agent Jessica Knight ranks seventh in the ranking. She has been played by Katrina Law since Season 18. She came in as a replacement for Eleanor Ellie
Bishop to Team Gibbs and is still involved in the series. When Season 23 starts in October 2025, her episode count will accordingly increase.
In fact, she is the first female agent to join Team Gibbs after his departure and does not experience his unique leadership style.

Bishop
Ellie, played by Emily Wickersham, joins Team Gibbs in the ninth episode of Season 11. The former NSA analyst follows Cote De Pablo’s Ziva David as the new female member after her abrupt departure.
By her exit in Season 18, Episode 16, she has appeared in 172 episodes of Navy CIS. In fact, Bishop’s status remains unclear: While she officially retired in 2021, it is still not clarified whether she is alive or deceased.
Rank 5: Nicholas Torres
Actor Wilmer Valderrama joined the NCIS cast in the first episode of Season 14. Before his time as an agent under Gibbs, he worked undercover in Argentina. He becomes a special agent on Gibbs’ team and fills the gap left by Tony DiNozzo’s departure. Similar to Tony, he also tries to distract from his own insecurities with charisma and humor.
He has now appeared in a total of 181 episodes and is also listed as a cast member for the upcoming Season 23. His episode count will therefore continue to rise starting October 2025.
