Where Winds Meet will also be provided with new content after the release. Many fans are therefore asking for a roadmap, but is there one? And if so, what new features can players expect? We will show you what is currently known.
Is there a roadmap for Where Winds Meet? Recently, there is a small roadmap focusing on December 2025. Because on December 11, 2025 (depending on the region, December 12, exact start times are still unknown), the RPG hit will receive its first major content update. This update will include:
- Two new limited-time activities
- A new region: The Roaring Sands (German name not yet known)
- Two new bosses: River Master and Feng Ruzhi
In the following weeks, the following content is planned:
- From December 12, 2025, you can also play Where Winds Meet on iOS and Android devices.
- On December 14, the Velvet Shadows will become accessible, which you have already encountered in the story in Kaifeng
- On December 21, there will be a new Sword Trial and new content for the Hero Realm
- On December 30, there will be a fireworks festival for New Year’s Eve and the turn of the year
Additionally, information has already been shared on how the game will continue to receive content and updates in the future.
The whole thing is supposed to happen cyclically in seasons and provide larger content updates, as well as smaller patches within the seasons.

All information about upcoming updates from Where Winds Meet
What is known so far about upcoming updates and content? Where Winds Meet is set to receive regular updates in the form of seasons. Each season will last approximately 3 months and bring fresh content and significant improvements.
Each season will focus on a different aspect. Sometimes there will be new storylines, new areas, or events, while other times major gameplay innovations or social features will be introduced. Additionally, there will be smaller updates within the seasons that are based on player feedback and aim to improve the gaming experience, as well as fix bugs and issues.
Whether there will be a proper roadmap in the future is still unclear. However, we will keep an eye out for you. At least the Chinese version of the game already reveals what we can look forward to in the West.
In the upcoming updates, new sects will also become accessible that you can join. At launch, there are 11 sects integrated that function like a mix of classes and guilds, but you cannot join all of them directly.
