The vast world of Where Winds Meet is packed with important locations, quest givers, and hidden secrets that the developers even offer an interactive map for their role-playing game.
Where can I find an interactive map for Where Winds Meet? Firstly, actually in the game itself. If you talk to the local wanderer NPC at a campfire symbol, they will reveal the surrounding area of the campfire for you.
The unveiling will already show you many important locations of the area. You can also specifically search within the revealed regions for things like ore deposits, plants, or animals. And if you want to know in the respective menu where to obtain weapons or martial arts skills, the respective locations will also be displayed directly on the map.
What alternatives are there? If you don’t want to visit all campfires one by one, want to use more display and filter options, or want to place an interactive map on a second monitor, currently you have 2 options:
- The official interactive map from the developers of Where Winds Meet, which is currently only available in Chinese via act.ds.163.com. Once the western version of the map is live, we will update this here.
- In the meantime, you can find an English version of the interactive map at fextralife.com, where you can view 42 different locations or contents.
Unfortunately, we have not yet found a map with German terms.

What is Where Winds Meet? Where Winds Meet (here’s our hands-on report) is a new role-playing game from the Chinese Everstone Studio and published by NetEase Games. You can find our assessment in video form here:
You can expect a very extensive and complex RPG that aims to excite multiple fan camps:
- Story and world set in China of the 10th century, but oriented towards the fictional Wuxia genre, which you may know from film classics like Tiger & Dragon or Hero.
- The open world at launch consists of two large regions, is vast, and offers secrets, puzzles, and content that will keep you busy for 100+ hours.
- Your hero fights with their martial arts skills, with the Wuxia premise allowing them to use superhuman abilities and even fly.
- Level progression is multifaceted and allows you to enhance skills and equipment slots. In addition, there are numerous ways to visually distinguish yourself from other players.
- The entire story campaign and numerous quests are experienced alone, as in a typical single-player role-playing game. Optionally, you can invite up to 3 coop friends into your world to play certain side narratives, campaign content (not including the story quests of the main story), and leisure activities.
- Alternatively, you can switch to an optional multiplayer mode where you can encounter many other players.
