The Weekend League is entering its third year and has some changes to show. However, the most profitable mode remains FUT Champions.

Weekend League Rewards: The Weekly Rewards
When do the Weekly Rewards come? The weekly rewards can be claimed on Thursdays at 10 AM. Sometimes they also get delayed. The sets do not expire, and the contents are exchangeable except for the Player Picks.
What rewards do I receive? Depending on how many wins you achieve from the maximum of 30 games in one weekend, you will reach one of the following ranks. You will receive all the prizes behind it; there is no choice option like in Division Rivals. However, you must have played at least 5 matches to receive rewards.
FUT Champions Rewards for Each Rank
- Bronze 3 (0 to 1 win): 1000 coins, 2 Gold Packs, 250 FUT Champions Points
- Bronze 2 (2 to 3 wins): 3000 coins, 2 Premium Gold Packs, 500 FUT Champions Points
- Bronze 1 (4 to 5 wins): 7500 coins, 1 Premium Gold Player Pack, 500 FUT Champions Points
- Silver 3 (6 to 7 wins): 10,000 coins, 1 Premium Gold Player Pack, 2 Jumbo Premium Gold Packs, 1 Player Pick, 1000 FUT Champions Points
- Silver 2 (8 to 10 wins): 15,000 coins, 1 Mega Pack, 1 Rare Gold Pack, 1 Player Pick, 1000 FUT Champions Points
- Silver 1 (11 to 13 wins): 20,000 coins, 1 Jumbo Premium Gold Player Pack, 1 Mega Pack, 1 Player Pick, 2000 FUT Champions Points
- Gold 3 (14 to 16 wins): 30,000 coins, 2 Mega Packs, 1 Rare Player Pack, 2 Player Picks, 2000 FUT Champions Points
- Gold 2 (17 to 19 wins): 45,000 coins, 1 Rare Gold Pack, 2 Rare Mega Packs, 2 Player Picks, 2000 FUT Champions Points
- Gold 1 (20 to 22 wins): 50,000 coins, 2 Jumbo Rare Player Packs, 2 Player Picks, 2000 FUT Champions Points
- Elite 3 (23 to 24 wins): 70,000 coins, 1 Premium TOTW Pack, 1 Jumbo Rare Player Pack, 3 Player Picks, 2000 FUT Champions Points
- Elite 2 (25 to 26 wins): 100,000 coins, 1 Premium TOTW Pack, 1 Jumbo Rare Player Pack, 3 Player Picks, 2000 FUT Champions Points

What are Player Picks? Introduced in FIFA 19, Player Picks allow you to choose from a selection of 5 cards, of which you can choose one. The FUT Champions rewards include the red TOTW cards that you would otherwise receive in the monthly rewards.
What are FUT Champions Points? The newly introduced FUT Champions Points help you qualify for the Weekend League. How exactly this works, you can find out in our Weekend League Qualification article.
Monthly rewards are disappearing: In FUT 19, there will be no monthly prizes in the Weekend League. However, you can still receive your red informs through Player Picks; however, these are untradeable like last year.
FUT Champions Calendar – This is the Duration of the Weekend League
When does the Weekend League start? A new competition starts every Friday at 9 AM. The first Weekend League will take place from October 5 to October 8. After that, there will be a new competition every week.
When does the Weekend League end? A FUT Champions weekend lasts exactly 3 days. Thus, each competition ends on Monday at 9 AM. The last Weekend League will likely take place at the end of August 2019.
What is FUT Champions and how do I qualify?
The Weekend League is the mode for top players: FUT Champions – or also the Weekend League – is the mode for the best FIFA players. Not only are there great prizes to win, but you can also qualify for official FUT tournaments by using this mode. However, this usually only works for eSports players.
Learn from the professionals: In the Champions Channel, you can watch the matches of the top players retrospectively. You can even see their controller inputs and precisely follow what you need to press to play like them.
The Matchmaking in FUT Champions
Matchmaking was a myth: In the last two years, many players complained about unfair matchmaking or at least wanted transparency from EA. The game publisher made a clean slate for FIFA 19 and revealed how the online matches of the Weekend League come about.
Form should ensure fair matches. Every Weekend League starts every player with a form of 0. For a win (W) you get +1, for a loss (L) -1. For example, a game flow of W,L,W,W,W leads to a form of 3. All games of a weekend count, not just the last five.
Location and form determine matchups: Players with similar form and matching location are assigned to each other. The purpose of this system is to ensure that only the best of the best, with increasing form and thus stronger opponents, can still win all games and reach top placements.
The Qualification for the Weekend League
How can I participate? Last year, qualification for the Weekend League came through Daily Knockout Tournaments. In FUT 19, this is different. A detailed explanation of FUT Champions qualification can be found here for you.
What do I need for qualification? You need 2000 FUT Champions Points to receive a Weekend League Token. You can choose when to redeem this token.
Where do I get points? Either through the weekly rewards of the Weekend League or Division Rivals. Additionally, every Division Rivals match gives extra points.
