When will Warzone 2 be released? The release is on November 16.
At what time will Warzone 2 start? On Wednesday at 7 PM you can start the battle royale.
Will Warzone 2 be free? The new battle royale is like its predecessor Free2Play. However, it is still not entirely clear whether you need PS Plus or Xbox Live to play. If you don’t need PS Plus, you might incur 25 cents in the PlayStation Store like with the first Warzone.
When can Warzone 2 be downloaded? The preload starts on November 14 at 7 PM. Here you will find information about the download on all platforms.
Who can start the preload? All platforms can start the preload. It does not matter whether you have purchased MW2 or not.
How large will the download of Warzone 2 be? Currently, you only have to download a little. If you haven’t downloaded MW2, the following download sizes apply on the platforms:
- PlayStation: approx. 47 GB
- Xbox: approx. 46 GB
- Steam: approx. 25 GB
- Battle.net: approx. 20 GB
If you have already downloaded MW2 with all packages, you will not have to download anything on consoles and only a few GB on PC.
Will Warzone 2 be a standalone game? Yes and no. Warzone 2 is a free battle royale, but it runs through the launcher of Modern Warfare 2. You do not need to buy CoD MW2 to play Warzone 2.0, but you need to have parts of it on your drive.
