For Season 6 of Fortnite: Battle Royale, the third and probably last teaser has recently been released. This time, you see a werewolf in the picture. This confuses the community and leaves room for all kinds of speculation.
On Twitter, the developers at Epic recently showed the third teaser image for Season 6. Since Season 6 starts tomorrow, September 27, this is likely the final image before the season launch.
What does the 3rd teaser show? Image number 3 shows something completely unexpected. Namely, a kind of werewolf with tattered clothes and terrifying fangs. The creature is depicted – like the other two teaser images – against the background of a purple cube.
The community wonders – What does the wolf have to do with Fortnite?
This is what the players say: Many players were initially baffled on Reddit and Twitter. After the Llama DJ and the Cowgirl, a werewolf was probably the last thing expected as another teaser.
Nevertheless, there are the following assumptions and interpretations:
- Many players believe that the wolf is part of the upcoming Halloween event. Although such an event has not yet been officially announced, it is considered certain. After all, this festival was celebrated last year, where among other things the legendary Skull Trooper was available.
- For Halloween, there should be special skins in the shop. However, it is possible that the spooky festival will also be directly incorporated into the season. Then the wolf would indeed be a Battle Pass reward.
- Other players clearly see the wolf creature as a “Furry”. These are anthropomorphic animal beings that enjoy great popularity among their fans, especially on the internet. “Furries are now officially part of Fortnite,” some users noted.
- The wolf would then fit in with the Llama DJ from the first teaser. Both are humanoid animal beings.
Fun Fact: According to some users, the wolf actually looks like the character Crash Bandicoot from the eponymous jump-n’-run game.
So it remains exciting until we know more about the theme of Season 6 on September 27.
