In April 2023, the big gaming event CAGGTUS will take place in Leipzig. Our FYNG team will be there. Find out here what is planned.
What is a CAGGTUS? The “CAGGTUS” is not named so because it is a homage to spiky desert plants. Rather, behind the quirky name lies a proper gaming event with Germany’s largest LAN party, an entertainment area, booths with merchandise, and a cosplay competition. So, an event by and for the gaming community. The big bash takes place from April 14 to April 16, 2023, at the Leipzig Messe.
And somehow, it does have something to do with cacti. Because at the predecessor event Dreamhack, green spiky plants were always placed at the LAN party. This trend also continued in other events organized by the responsible parties, and now the power of the cactus is so massive that the thorny plants lend their name to a big new event. The GG in CAGGTUS stands for “Good Game,” the traditional farewell greeting after a good gaming session.

What is FYNG actually? Behind FYNG (Find your Next Game) is a format in which we present you high-quality content about gaming. Among others, the Webedia sites GameStar, GamePro, and MeinMMO are involved.
As part of FYNG, you will be presented with previously overlooked gaming gems and gain more insights behind the scenes of the hobby in podcasts and exciting articles. At CAGGTUS – the big gaming event of 2023 – a FYNG team will definitely be on site and will conduct our program live there.
Where can you find us? We have set up an epic studio of 160 m² on site for our FYNG CAGGTUS. You can find us in the USK 12 area in the entertainment section. Our planned streaming times are daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, on Sunday until 5 PM.
What do we actually do there? According to the FYNG motto “Find your next Game,” we will introduce you to games and let you discover them. This way, you might find the one or other hidden gem that you haven’t had on your radar yet.
Here’s more info about the CAGGTUSIn addition, there will be more exciting content that FYNG is currently shaping. A major highlight will be our live podcasts, where we talk about new trends and timeless gaming topics. There will also be community interaction, including live voting on topics.
Additionally, we have prepared cooperative gameplay rounds, quiz shows, Jenga, cosplay, eSports, and interviews with influencers and developers for you. We offer an action-packed program, and when you stop by, there will always be something new to discover.
What else is there? Besides our FYNG area, CAGGTUS is buzzing with other features. You will find, among other things, the largest LAN party in the country, a cosplay area, the German CaseMod Championship, and a large entertainment area where you can play all kinds of games. The CAGGTUS offers something for each of you.
