A new trailer for Destiny 2 has been released. This shows you what Destiny 2 really is.
Many players are asking the question “What is Destiny 2?” these days. Currently, the PC beta of Destiny 2 is running, which is also attracting attention from people who have never interacted with Destiny before. After all, Destiny was console-exclusive for three years. Only with Destiny 2 does the MMO shooter make its move to PC.
The question of what makes Destiny 2 is not easy to answer – especially not in one or two sentences. Therefore, Bungie has now released a trailer, in which you are shown in one and a half minutes what Destiny 2 is. We have embedded it for you above.

The quite entertaining trailer presents the basics of Destiny 2:
- It is an action shooter
- There is a comprehensive story, in which you fight against the Cabal’s Red Legion. They have attacked the last city of humanity.
- The villain is Ghaul, the leader of the Red Legion.
- You can play many content solo or in groups.
- There are 3-player co-op strikes.
- There is a 6-player co-op raid.
- There are guided games, allowing you to quickly join other fireteams.
- There are several PvP modes – these are played in 4v4.
- There are three different Guardian classes: Titan, Hunter, and Warlock. These allow for different playstyles.
- You can customize your gear, weapons, and character.
- And there are new worlds to explore.
